HydroMatrix™
Deep Penetrating Crystalline Waterproofing for Piers and Concrete Structures
Al Rasif International LLC also offers HydroMatrix™ (USA) — crystalline waterproofing for concrete structures.
Penetrative crystalline waterproofing for piers, platforms, docks, foundations, and reservoirs:
Penetration depth up to 1,000 mm
Fills pores up to 0.50 mm
Self-healing upon contact with moisture and seawater
Resistant to aggressive environments and seawater
Operating Principle (Nano Technology):
Special chemical additives react with moisture and cement particles, forming insoluble crystals inside the concrete matrix. These crystals fill pores and microcracks, making the structure impermeable to water while retaining vapor permeability, allowing internal moisture to escape and preventing mold or damage.
The material can be applied on both the positive and negative sides of water pressure and has the ability to self-heal microcracks.
Materials: Cement - or silicate-based impregnations
Advantages: Increases waterproofing and frost resistance of concrete, and gives it self-healing properties.
